| 1 Star, Tourist Class Modern Hotel
The hotel is located adjacent to the central station. The area has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy district in which to live with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The location makes it convenient to most of Copenhagen's major attractions including Tivoli gardens, the shopping street; Storget, cinemas, restaurants and the airport bus drop off point at central station.
The rooms are comfortable and perfect for the budget traveller. All rooms have a sink but the showers and toilets are in communial rooms that are shared. The rooms themselves are small to medium in size, clean and decorated in a very traditional design, with dark wood furniture and earthy coloured textiles.
Located on the ground floor, the restaurant is a large open planned space adjacent to the lobby and near to the entrance, offering a bright and enjoyable environment to enjoy breakfast
The hotel exterior is a traditional white stone building with narrow rectangular and arched windows. The lobby is medium sized and decorated in light pastel colours. The dining room is to one side and to the other is an area for soft seating. There is also a life size replica statue of the Little Mermaid.
Overall this family owned and run hotel offers good value for money, a modern interior in a traditonal building and an excellent friendly service all within a central location. |
